The Mockingbird's Leap 2008

We’re gearing up on the TML blog for Advent this year. In case you didn’t know, The Mockingbird’s Leap was a short-term but intentional blog community formed for Advent 2007. The idea was to pay attention during the season, looking out for the presence of God in the world as we prepared for the receiving of the great Gift.

The attentive pilgrims of 2007 posted reflections, or photos, or videos, or whatever it was that sparked a sense of gratitude during Advent sharing their thankfulness with others. Above all though it was there to help us practice attentiveness.

Anyway, due to demand, we’re running it again and if you fancy taking then contact me on glenn[AT]crookedshore[DOT][COM] or leave a comment below. There is no need to have any blogging experience – several of last year’s participants had none at all. All that’s required is a desire to mark your noticing.

Have a look at the blog and read some of the posts for an idea of how it works.
