I love this photo because of the abandon.
My son is the guy on the left and the rest are the sons of friends of mine. We had a ‘lads and dads’ weekend in Newcastle, Co Down last weekend and this photo was taken at the Mourne Wall on our last stop before a strike for the top of Donard.
The weekend was wonderful. Swimming, biking, hiking, midnight walks on the beach, rugby playing and watching, beach cricket you name it we did it. And we got to watch the rugby world cup quarter finals as well. In fact, our wives are convinced we neglected our kids to drink beer and watch the games.
Not entirely true. (or false).
